Horam Community Garden
"Bringing people together to enjoy the outdoors and promote wellbeing.”
The Horam Community Garden was established in the summer of 2024 when a small group of volunteers from the Horam gathering at Kings Church Heathfield decided to clear an overgrown area next to the allotments in Horam Recreation Ground.
The team have created a welcoming environment, designed to encourage people to gather, enjoy the outdoors, and promote wellbeing.
Our vision is for the garden to become a social space, where community members can meet, connect, and collaborate in cultivating a shared green space that everyone can enjoy.
We aim to offer a variety of activities for all ages, including gardening, planting, bug hunting, nature talks, and crafting.
